A Horse, A Little Begging, And A Cook.

Thursday, Thursday. Is it just me, or does this week seem to be dragging on? Maybe it's just me. I feel like I'm counting down the days in excitment until the big move. If you can't tell, I am so ready to get settled. I have like 1000,000000,00000000 ideas that I want to do when we get there. Mostly thanks to pinterest. I think I may need to go to pinterest anonymous. But things like organziation ideas for Davis, the house, the pantry. Oh dear, it's bad. Well, that part is good. My obsessive pinning is bad.

This is a little video clip of this really funny leg thing Davis has been doing lately. I can't tell if he's dancing, or if he thinks he's a horse. Either way, I find it pretty amusing. If you're not family, you most likely won't enjoy it as much as I do. **And I have no idea why it's so small!**

I also want to beg you to follow me through email or RSS feeds. As most of you know, stupid google will no longer be having GFC. Why do they have to do this? No, that is not a rhetorical question. I want answers, Google!! Sheesh. So, I am begging you, as a blogger to a fellow blogger. Please don't leave me. I will curl up in a ball and cry. It will be sad. I may be in the closet again, meaning there will be wine involved. Please save the mascara from running down my face, and simply put in your email, and press enter. I will seriously love you forever. And the cutest little pictures of Davis playing at my dad's house last week. They have such great learning toys for him, and it's so cute watching him. He went and got his 'kitchen' toys and set up his own little tea party. It. Was. ADORABLE!!! Espeically because no one prompted this, he just dragged the chairs in the kitchen while we were all hanging out.

You may notice that Pooh bear is wearing a diaper. Yeah, Pooh bear is also potty training.

I Done Did My Hair...From Pinterest

I recently posted about some of my hair LOVES on pinterest. I try to recreate them, but since I pretty much stink at hair, they look okay.....ish, but not the same. This happens to be my favorite of them all.

I think I've been trying to perfect a french braid for, well, my life. So, I still need a lot of work. But I still had to show you my improvement.

1. I didn't wash my hair today (yes, that's right, I didn't wash it) so it was particularly thin. I think I should have teased it more to have the part like her.
2. I'm laughing at myself in the first picture, because I am having to bend down to take a picture of myself (which is weird) since that mirror was positioned so low.
3. The third picture is the reason why I had to bend because of my wedges I was wearing. Which, by the way, are super comfy. They are like slippers on a wedge. Perfect for mommies!!
4. So, you can kind of see what it resulted in. I still wore it, but my whole braid thang needs some work. I'll get it by the time I'm 50!

Just Another Manic Monday

Seeing as how it's Monday, and my brain is still on snooze, I thought I would do a Pinterest post. If you are like me, then you are addicted to pinterest. Like, bad. I keep saying I am going to need a barn to fill for all of my crafty stuff I awnt to make from there. (Somehow, half of the things I have pinned are gone, but I'll keep going.) I have always, and I mean always, want to try new things with my hair, but have no idea what to do. I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to creativity on hairdos. I can whip up a mean ponytail, though! Oh, yeah!! Well, don't ya know, pinterest has the answer. A link to a blog with a TON of step by step how to's for idiots like me! Yay!

Pinterest Made Me Drink

Are you on pinterest? If you're not, be ready to be addicted. If you are, then you already know that pinterest is the devil, and it's like trying to give up crack. Okay, maybe not that far, but you get the point. I can waste way too much time on there, pinning things that I know I'll never make, never have in my home, and never be able to figure out that dang hairstyle. But I do it anyway, because hey, a girl can dream!

My craft list on pinterest is growing by the minute on there. I would have to have a barn to fill with the things I'm supposedly going to make! Since we are still in the apartment, I don't exactly have enough space to fill for the pins I'm pinning. So, half of them are going to have to wait until next year.

HOWEVER, I actually made my first pinterest DIY! Yes, people, it happened. I drank my way to my craft! I know, I know. Me? Drink? Well, if my banner and title of my blog doesn't give it away, then I don't know what to tell you. Mama likes a good glass of wine. So, pinterest+wine bottle+crafty stuff=amazing! One night, I decided to go on a drinking binge for the sake of pinterest, and downed about 10 bottles of wine. Please call Betty Ford and have me admitted. Just kidding, I spread the 10 over two nights, so we're good now. (again, kidding...maybe) Have you seen the salt wine bottles for Christmas? Too cute! So I made some. I actually made my friend come over and do some with me. She's a crafty nerd too, so it was pretty fun!

Seeing as how I left my sms card in the car and it's only 29 degrees outside, I took some quick pics with my phone. So you won't be able to see my amazing photog skills right now...because mama is lazy and doesn't want to get out in the cold!

Pretty, right? If you don't think so, just don't tell me. But it was super easy! Just pick out the color of spray paint you want, rub on some mod podge glue, and sprinkle epsom or sea salt! Voila! Homemade Christmas decoration that you drank your way to! Haha :)
