Friday Confessional

Photobucket
I confess that I feel really old because I still left a little after 11:30.
And Davis was a demon child yesterday morning, so I placed him in his crib to calm down. He fell asleep. I let him take a cat nap.
Lunch time came and I was too lazy to throw anything together. We went to McDonald's. I hadn't been to McDonald's in years. Davis had his first happy meal and devoured every last morsel. I on the other hand, felt like and awful mom. But damn it was good!
Instead of changing Davis' clothes that he spilled milk on, I let him run around with no clothes on. I just told myself his skin was airing out. We played outside in the backyard (the neighbors couldn't see me in my big sweats) and we had a fun time running around....while I cleaned up poop. That was fun!
I confess that again, although I had an amazing time with my girlfriends, how in the world did I used to do that so much? I had no headache...I was TIRED! Whew, mama can't handle that. But the sushi was great and the girl talk was even better!
I confess that I didn't even have my typical glass of wine with dinner last night. Shocking, right!?!

You gotta let their skin air out every once in awhile!

McDonalds and the Disney channel, the perfect combination for any "fried" Mamma!

You're the second Friday Confessional I've read that has mentioned sushi...I now must have sushi!

I confess that I totally use chicken McNuggets as pick me up when the morning just isn't going right.

My two year old insists on running around with only his diaper at night before jammie time. Just for a bit. He loves to be diaper king so I let him.

Mmmmm. I love sushi and girl talk...when you can combine the two, that's pure bliss!

My little boy used to run around naked all the time. I was pretty sure he would grow up to be a stripper or an exhibitionist. Time will tell.

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Sounds like a normal momma to me. McD's is fun every once in a while and I love letting his "skin air out" so cute.
Enjoyed your confession.
Have a great weekend! :)

Who needs clothes? My four (yes my 6 to 19 month old) run around in their undies/diapers all the time. Sometimes just being naked is best!

And if you're an awful mom for going to McDonald's once in forever, then I've got sewn up in the bag! We go at least twice a month. Indoor play area in the Northwest is a place to release some energy. And might as well fill up on Happy Meals and a coke for Mom!

I have been so tired lately too! The other night, both my son and I fell asleep on the couch around 7:00. We woke up at like 9:00 pm and just went straight up to bed.

Starting with the header of your blog right down to "damn, it was good", you are such a cutie. I LOVE your funny blog.

No, my daughter doesn't live in Dallas..was there for a visit with a friend and a concert of SOMEones, SOMEwhere in Dallas. They went to WS, Pottery Barn, and that store that starts with an I. We don't have those stores out here in the town we live in.
